Product Description:

TOTAL RUBIA 8900 10w40 – semi-synthetic for diesel engines. Its operational qualities and technical characteristics are largely provided by Low SAPS technology. This means that the amount of sulfur, phosphorus and sulfate ash is reduced in the composition. Thanks to this, the lubricating fluid contributes to the cleanliness and prolongation of the efficiency of exhaust gas aftertreatment systems.

Total Rubia 8900 10W-40 also has high thermal stability. Resistant to oxidation, protects parts from wear and corrosion. It also prevents the phenomenon known as "cylinder polishing". That is why the oil film on the surface of the parts fits snugly and holds well, protecting them from wear throughout their service life.

Scope of application:

TOTAL TIR 8900 10W-40 is designed for Euro-3, 4, 5 generation diesel engines that operate with increased loads. Suitable for systems equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF — Diesel Particulate Filters). And also for some systems with catalytic converters (SCR).

It is recommended for use in the machinery of Mercedes, MAN, Volvo, Renault, DAF and others.
