TOTAL LACTUCA LT 3000

LACTUCA LT 3000 is a chlorine-free macro emulsion for processing copper alloys and soft steels.

Application:

• LACTUCA LT 3000 is specially designed for standard machining of copper alloys and for threading operations.

• Also suitable for processing carbon steels.

• Recommended proportions: from 3 to 7%.

• Temporary protection of processed and unprocessed workpieces when an easily removable product with protective properties is required.

Recommendations for use:

• In order to ensure high stability of the properties of the liquid for a long time and thereby increase its service life, we recommend:

− Check the liquid concentration regularly with a refractometer. Do not forget to multiply the measured value by the refractive index.

− Regularly check the pH value of the emulsion and the hardness of the water.

• Total offers its customers a service for monitoring the quality of SOLUBLE CHECK coolant.

• Before starting to apply any coolant or before each replacement, we recommend cleaning the equipment with a special detergent: CONTRAM CB 3.
